Sony to Launch Its Most Awaited Tablets

Sony set to launch its much awaited tablets S1 and S2, in India by the end of this month. S1 will be branded as Sony S and the S2 will be branded as Sony P. There is no detail about the prices but it's expected to be priced around Rs 34,000.

Sony S has a 9.4 inch display 1280x800 pixel resolution, powered by dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor, 1 GB RAM and runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb. It offers 16 GB and 32 GB of storage versions.


Sony S2 is clamshell designed with dual 5.5 inch touchscreen displays with 1024x480 pixel resolution, powered by dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor, and other features as S1. This tablet has a 5 megapixel camera at the back and 0.3 megapixel camera in the front.

Both the tablets will feature the PlayStation Store support that will help them to download PlayStation Certified games and access other features. Sony may upgrade both the tablets with the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
